"It Is What It Is" - SPAM Food Truck Festival No Bull****. Just SPAM Recipient of a 2018 American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA in the Student Competition category. We were asked to brand an event that would attract focused attention on a product or organization that currently has an image problem. The target demographic being millennials. In doing the research for this brief, I found that while SPAM canned ham still sells quite well, it is seen by many as unappetizing and having no nutritional value. So in this day and age of "all natural" and "organic" everything, how do we entice a younger generation to try SPAM? The concept here is to just be completely transparent and straight forward.
